Drinking games for couples
A couples drinking game for two: draw a card, do the dare or answer the question, or take the sips printed on it. Knotty deals a flirty deck you can play with no account, including never have I ever, most likely to, and rules. Spicy and Scorching need a free account. The lines on this page are the flirty ones. Nothing here is explicit.
21+ in the US. Drink water, anything non-alcoholic counts, and never drink and drive.
How to play with two people
- One phone between you. Put your names in. Pick sips, or points if nobody is drinking.
- Take turns drawing one card. Read it out loud. Do it, or skip it and take the number on the card.
- A never have I ever is an answer. A most likely to is a name and a reason. A rule lasts until the next rule.
- Stop while it is still fun. If you want a round with no sips at all, the game night uses the same kind of turns. The longer never have I ever list, without penalties, is on its own page, and the dares that are only a kiss or a question are truth or dare.
Dares
The warm end of the deck. In the game, the names are yours.
- Give your partner a ten-second kiss. Hands can stay where they are.
- Whisper one thing you like about your partner, directly into their ear.
- Hold eye contact with your partner for twenty seconds. Laughing ends it, and it still counts.
- Dance with your partner for one chorus of whatever is nearest.
- Trace your name on your partner’s back with one finger. They have to guess it.
- Give your partner your best “come here” look and hold it for five seconds.
- Tuck your partner’s hair behind their ear, slowly, or smooth their collar if there is no hair to tuck.
- Tell your partner the first place you would take them on a free Saturday.
Questions
Answer in a sentence. A speech can wait for the next card.
- What song makes you think of your partner?
- What is a compliment you have been saving for your partner?
- Where would you want to be kissed, from the shoulders up?
- What did your partner wear the last time you got distracted?
- Do you prefer to start the kiss, or be pulled in?
- What is a date you keep meaning to plan with your partner?
Never have I ever
Say whether you have. The longer confession list, with no sips attached, is the never have I ever page.
- Never have I ever sent a flirty text and reread it before anyone answered.
- Never have I ever put on a song just to have an excuse to stand closer to your partner.
- Never have I ever practiced a compliment and then said a worse one out loud.
- Never have I ever stayed on a call because I did not want to hang up.
- Never have I ever kissed someone in a doorway because we were already late.
- Never have I ever saved a date idea and then never sent it.
Most likely to
Name someone, then give them one sentence.
- Most likely to plan the evening and then get shy at the door. Name who, and say why.
- Most likely to steal the blanket and pretend they did not. Name who.
- Most likely to say “one more song” and mean three. Name who.
- Most likely to say “five more minutes” and mean the cuddling. Name who.
Rules
A rule lasts until you draw another one. Skipping the card still costs the number on it.
- New rule, until the next rule card: the person who is not reading keeps a hand on the reader. Drop it and that person takes 1.
- New rule, until the next rule card: nicknames only. A real name costs 1.
- New rule, until the next rule card: every answer has to include your partner’s name. Forget, and you take 1.
- New rule, for the next three cards: read them in a whisper. A normal voice costs 1.
Deal the next card
These lines are already in Knotty. Open Drink or Dare, leave the heat on flirty, and take turns. No account needed. Switch to points whenever you want the same game without a drink.
Play free on KnottyCommon questions
Is there a couples drinking game for two?
Yes. Drink or Dare on Knotty is built for two people and one phone. You can add more names, and two is the game it was written for.
Do we have to drink alcohol?
No. Switch the round to points and the cards stay the same. Water or any non-alcoholic drink can stand in for a sip, and the number on the card is the score instead.
What happens if we skip a card?
You take the sips, or the points, printed on that card. A skip is the whole penalty. You do not owe an explanation.
Are these the explicit cards?
No. Everything on this page is from the flirty heat: kisses, questions, never have I ever, most likely to, and rules. Spicy and Scorching stay in the game, behind a free account, and they are not printed here.
